In the ongoing vote count in Sunsari–1, Harkaraj Rai has taken a commanding lead. According to the latest results, he has secured 33,565 votes.Following him, Goma Tamang of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has received 20,237 votes.
Similarly, Surya Bahadur Bhattarai of the Communist Party of Nepal has garnered 5,589 votes, Tika Ram Limbu of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has received 4,849 votes, and Sujendra Tamang of the Nepali Congress has secured 3,241 votes.
The vote counting is still ongoing, according to the Office of the Election Officer.
