Gagan Thapa Calls for Digital Governance to Improve Public Services

KATHMANDU, Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has emphasized the need for digital governance to end the hardships citizens face while accessing government services.
In a video message shared on Wednesday, Thapa said people are often forced to wait in long queues as files move slowly between offices, causing unnecessary delays. He pledged to replace the traditional paper-based system with technology-driven solutions to make service delivery simple, swift, and citizen-friendly.
Thapa added that the administrative structure must become more efficient and result-oriented, reaffirming the party’s commitment to improving public services through digital transformation.
