KATHMANDU, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has arrived in Chitwan to take part in election-focused programs ahead of the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

Lamichhane reached Chitwan on Thursday and was warmly welcomed at Bharatpur Airport by party leaders, cadres, and well-wishers.A candidate from Chitwan constituency No. 2, Lamichhane is scheduled to interact with voters and participate in door-to-door campaigning during his visit. The party has intensified its grassroots-level engagement as the election date draws nearer.Under the first-past-the-post system, RSP has fielded candidates in all three parliamentary constituencies of Chitwan.

Hari Dhakal has been nominated from Chitwan-1, Rabi Lamichhane from Chitwan-2, and Sabita Gautam from Chitwan-3.Party leaders say the campaign activities in the district will continue to expand in the coming days to strengthen voter outreach and public engagement.
